Email and Communications Policy
Effective date: May 24, 2026 · Last updated: May 24, 2026
This policy explains the kinds of email we send and your choices. We treat three kinds of email differently.
1. Service / transactional emails
These are emails needed to provide the service or to manage your account. Examples:
- account and login-related messages
- payment receipts, billing notices, and payment-method reminders
- onboarding and asset-request messages
- request/ticket updates
- important service or security notices
Because these are needed to deliver the service you bought, they are part of your account and are not promotional. You generally cannot opt out of essential service emails while your account is active, though you can close your account.
2. Reporting / statistics emails
These are optional summaries about your website, such as periodic site-health or activity reports.
- Reporting emails are optional and based on your preferences.
- You can turn them on or off, and choose how often you receive them.
- Reporting emails are aggregate and informational; they do not guarantee any business result.
3. Marketing / promotional emails
These are emails that promote services, offers, or news.
- We do not send marketing/promotional emails without appropriate consent.
- Every marketing email will include a clear way to unsubscribe.
- Unsubscribing from marketing email does not stop essential service emails.
4. How we send email
We use a third-party email delivery provider to send service email. We keep limited delivery/status information (see our Privacy Policy). We do not put secrets, passwords, or sensitive personal data in email content.
5. Your contact preferences
You can contact us at chris@webitizer.com to update your reporting-email preferences or to ask questions about communications you receive from us.
