Google Reporting Access and Consent
Effective date: May 24, 2026 · Last updated: May 24, 2026
This explains how Webitizer connects to your Google services for reporting, if you choose to connect them. Connecting is optional.
1. You own your Google accounts
You own your Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console (GSC), and Google Business Profile (GBP) accounts and the data in them. Connecting them to Webitizer for reporting does not transfer ownership to us.
If Webitizer creates a Google Analytics property for you as part of setup, we will document it and provide a path to transfer it to you.
2. Least-privilege, delegated access
When you connect a Google service, we ask for the least access needed to provide reporting:
- GA4: read-level access (Viewer/Analyst). Higher access only briefly for initial setup, then stepped down.
- Google Search Console: restricted or full user access for reporting; you control site verification.
- Google Business Profile: Manager access for insights. You stay the Owner.
We do not ask for your Google password. We do not ask you to share login credentials. We use Google’s own access-sharing and we do not store your Google passwords or login tokens.
3. You can revoke access
You can remove Webitizer’s access from your Google account at any time, directly in your Google settings. We will also remove access on request or at offboarding.
4. What we read and show
Reporting is aggregate only. We may read and show summary metrics such as:
- GA4: sessions, users, page views, top pages, traffic source, device category, coarse geography, and conversions you have set up
- GSC: clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position, top pages and queries
- GBP: profile views, actions, and interaction summaries (and, in the future, a review summary)
We do not collect or store individual visitor identities, IP addresses, or precise location from these services for reporting.
5. No edits without your authorization
We use Google access for reporting. We will not change your tracking configuration or edit your Business Profile unless you separately authorize it. We do not respond to reviews on your behalf unless separately authorized in writing.
6. No guarantees
Connecting Google services and receiving reporting does not guarantee rankings, traffic, leads, conversions, sales, revenue, or business growth. Reporting is informational. Search position figures are reported as-is and are not a promise of placement.
7. Your consent (recorded when you connect)
When you connect a Google service, we record your consent, including:
- which services you connected
- what data we may read and show
- whether you authorized tracking configuration
- whether you authorized Business Profile edits
- that you own the account/property/profile
- that you understand reporting may be shown in the portal and/or emailed (per your preferences)
- that you can revoke access
- that Webitizer makes no ranking/traffic/lead/revenue guarantees
