Refund, Cancellation, and Export Policy

We want this to be fair and clear. You should be able to cancel and leave with your own content without a fight.

1. Canceling your service

You can cancel at any time. When you cancel:

  • Your service continues through the end of the current paid monthly period.
  • Your monthly plan does not renew after that period ends.
  • You are not charged for periods after the current one.

You do not have to give a reason to cancel.

2. The setup fee

The setup fee pays for the design, build, and setup work we perform and for the project capacity we reserve for you. Because it covers work already performed, the setup fee is generally nonrefundable once paid.

3. The monthly fee

The monthly fee covers hosting, maintenance, and support for the current period. Monthly fees that have already been charged for the current period are not refunded when you cancel, because the service is provided for that period. Your plan simply does not renew after the current period.

4. What you own and can take with you

You own:

  • your domain
  • your business content, logo, images, and brand materials you provided
  • the customer/lead data submitted through your site
  • the exported site content and data we provide (see below)

When you cancel and your account is current, we will provide a reasonable export or handoff package of your site content and data in a reasonable format, where it is technically feasible.

5. What stays with Webitizer

Webitizer keeps ownership of:

  • reusable platform code and components
  • internal tools and the admin dashboard
  • templates and our proprietary backend framework
  • our automation and generalized know-how

Your exported site may not include the Webitizer-managed proprietary dashboard, backend platform, or automation, unless a separate custom agreement says otherwise. This is because those systems are shared technology we use to serve many clients, not a per-client deliverable.

6. Domain and hosting handoff

You own your domain. If Webitizer managed your domain or hosting while your service was active, we will cooperate reasonably to transfer or point your domain to your own account when you cancel and your account is current. We will not hold your domain or your data hostage.

7. Migration assistance

We will provide a static/export package or reasonable migration assistance to help you move on. We do not provide indefinite support after cancellation. Extensive migration work beyond a reasonable handoff may be offered as a separate billable service, agreed in advance.

8. Account must be current for handoff

Export and handoff are provided when your account is current on payment.

9. After cancellation

After your service ends and the handoff is complete, we may delete or retain your data according to our Data Retention, Deletion, and Offboarding policy and applicable legal/accounting requirements.

Plain-English summary

  • Cancel anytime; service runs to the end of the period you paid for.
  • Setup fee is generally nonrefundable because it pays for completed work.
  • You keep your domain, content, and data, and can take them with you.
  • We keep our reusable platform technology.
  • We help you move on reasonably, but not forever.
