Payment, Billing, and Subscription Terms

These terms explain how billing works. They are part of your Client Services Agreement and work together with the Refund, Cancellation, and Export Policy.
1. Setup fee
You pay a one-time setup fee at checkout for your plan. The setup fee is described in the Order Form and Plan Summary and is generally nonrefundable once paid (see the Refund, Cancellation, and Export Policy).
2. Monthly subscription
Your plan includes a recurring monthly fee for hosting, maintenance, and support. The monthly amount is the amount shown for your plan in the Order Form and Plan Summary.
3. When the monthly subscription starts
Your monthly subscription begins after your setup payment is confirmed. The first monthly charge is scheduled to begin approximately 30 days after your setup payment is confirmed, unless your order states otherwise. Each month renews automatically until you cancel.
4. Payment method and processor
We use Stripe as our payment processor. You authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method for the setup fee and the recurring monthly fee. Card details are handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
5. Change-request and out-of-scope work
Work outside your plan is billed separately, either at $100/hour or at a flat amount agreed in advance. We will identify change-request work and its cost before doing it.
6. Taxes
Prices do not include any applicable taxes unless stated. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase.
7. Failed or declined payments
If a payment fails or is declined, we may retry the charge and will reach out so you can update your payment method. We ask that you keep a valid payment method on file while your service is active.
8. Past-due accounts
If an account remains unpaid after we have contacted you, we may pause or suspend the service until the balance is brought current. We aim to give reasonable notice before any pause.
9. Pausing or suspending service
A pause or suspension does not by itself cancel your plan or waive amounts owed for periods already provided. We will restore service after the account is current, where reasonably feasible.
10. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time. Service continues through the end of the current paid monthly period, and the plan does not renew after that. See the Refund, Cancellation, and Export Policy for full cancellation, refund, and export details.
11. Refunds
Refund handling is described in the Refund, Cancellation, and Export Policy. In short: the setup fee is generally nonrefundable once paid, and monthly fees already charged for the current period are not refunded.
12. Customer billing portal
We may offer a billing portal or billing visibility so you can see invoices and payment status. Availability of self-service billing features may change over time.
13. Changes to pricing
Your current plan price is the price you accepted at checkout. If we change pricing for renewals, we will give you reasonable advance notice before it applies to you.
